changin times

saw the movie at midnight on friday, the movie had its moments but it was much like a long tv sketch.  i would say that this movie was much like his other films.  pretty much only one main plot and most scenes are preditcable but there were a few twists, so it wasn't too bad.  really funny but i was pretty wiped out so i didn't laugh too much.

this weekend has been fun.  a colleague is transferring to europe next month so this last week has been pretty much the farewell tour thingy for him.  we had lunch at the pub and then on friday for a few drinks.  had some dinner on robson and watched the movie... all planned spontaneously.

i think those evenings are the best, you really dont' have anything planned but you are up for anything.  well back to the grind this week.

well we're now into the start of week 4, that makes it 26 days in a row that this project has been going on.  apparently we are now very notorious throughout the office as we have been working 12 hour days on most of these days, we at least get to sleep in somewhat on the weekends.  i can go to work at 10 or 11 now and still manage to pull a 10 hour day.  life is grand.

lesssons learned:
devil is in the details.
anything can happen... literally
do not order from gowaiters.com unless you plan to eat 2 hrs later
we have eaten the following cuisines throughout the job: fast food, japanese, chinese, greek, indian, way too much italian and irsh food.
irsh cream and milk is a highly underrated drink.
the parking lot actually closes 5 mins after midnight so you can make it.

Your Birthdate: October 10
Independent and dominant, you tend to be the alpha dog in most situations.
You're very confident, and hardly anything ever shakes you.
Mundane tasks tend to drain you - you prefer to be making great plans.
You are quite original. When people don't "get" you, it bothers you a lot.

Your strength: Your ability to gain respect

Your weakness: Caring too much what others think

Your power color: Orange-red

Your power symbol: Letter X

Your power month: October
What Does Your Birth Date Mean?

well its day 19 and counting... its been pretty busy at work of late so i haven't had much time to do anything whatsoever for the past 3 weeks... on the border of insomnia due to stress and on the verge of going down sick.  a lot has happened since then.  i think i m going nuts.

You Are Somewhat Mature
You definitely act like an adult sometimes, but a big part of you is still a kid at heart.
While your immature side is definitely fun, you're going to have to grow up sooner or later.
